Root verb -hnohe-

Note: For an overview of h-stem verbsclick here
Of all the verb pages on this site, this one has the fullest number of the different subject/object pronoun prefixes in one place. It also demonstrates how they interact with an h-Stem Verb. Much of the research for this page came from William Cook's 1979 dissertation especially from pages 41-47. Dr. Cook presents 5 different Present Tense verbs in combination with all 60 of the Cherokee pronoun prefixes. I recommend getting access to a copy of the dissertation if you want to learn more.
An excellent application for drilling the entire set of Cherokee bound pronouns in small bites was produced by ᎹᎦᎵ and can be found here:Cherokee Bound Pronouns and is also available from the Apple Store, Google's Play Store, and Amazon. It's inexpensive and very effective!
Be aware that there may some minor difference in usage from one Cherokee speaking community to another.
