This verb also takes "Set A" pronouns for the meaning of "to catch it" with "it" being some inanimate object, such as a ball or anything thrown. 


Present Tense

ᎦᏂᏱᎭ- ga-niyi-ha - he/she/it is catching someone.

ᎡᏍᏗᏂᏱᎭ- esdi-niyi-ha - you two are catching someone.

ᎣᏍᏗᏂᏱᎭ- osdi-niyi-ha - the two of us (not including you) are catching someone.

ᎡᏗᏂᏱᎭ- edi-niyi-ha - we (including you) are all catching someone.

ᎣᏥᏂᏱᎭ- otsi-niyi-ha - we (not including you) are all catching someone.

ᎡᏥᏂᏱᎭ- etsi-niyi-ha - you are all catching someone.

ᎠᏂᏂᏱᎭ- ani-niyi-ha - they two are catching someone.

1. ᎠᏣᏗ ᎨᏗᏂᏱᎭ Atsaɂdi gediniyiha.
    We are all catching (some) fish.

2. ᎡᏍᏗᏂᏱᎭᏧ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ? Esdiniyihatsu nasgi asgaya?
   Are you two arresting that man?
