Breakdown of the verb form:

ᏂᏪᎠ - hni-we-a - you are saying it

ni- - "specific", this prefix denotes the action was done by a specified person or thing. Who is saying it? - kago nigawe'a?

hi- - "you" (signular), this is an "A" Class bound pronoun, used before a consonant.
NOTE: When "ni-" preceeds "hi-" the two sounds merge and flip places (called metathesis), and become "hni", thus "hniwe'a". Unfortunately, Cherokee syllabary doesn't show the "hni" sound so the syllabary is just ᏂᏪᎠ. However, this is significantly different from other forms of this verb and easily learned.

-we- - verb stem for "say it, meow, bark, whinny, etc."

-a - present tense suffix.

Example Sentences:

ᏪᏌ ᏂᎦᏪᎠ - wesa nigawe'a. - The cat is meowing.
ᎣᏏᏍᎪ ᏂᎦᏪᎠ Ꮎ ᎠᏧᏣ? - osisgo nigawe'a na atsutsa? - Is the boy saying it well?
